Director Lou Phillips’ professional career began in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 70’s during a golden-age of a wine and culinary revolution.  Northern California provided explorations of wineries and a cutting-edge culinary scene – think Louis Martini, Robert Mondavi and Joseph Phelps and pioneering restaurants such as Chez Panisse, Auberge du Soliel, and Masa’s.

It was during forays to these great restaurants and wineries of Napa Valley and Sonoma that he collected his passion and his palate. This grew into participating in and founding food/wine tasting groups that persist to this day
